RETRIBUTION TAKES ITS TOLL

Retribution takes its toll. A lousy, lazy and corrupted goverment nurtures greedy and stupid officials (leaders, we sometimes address them). Greedy and stupid officials allow the country's laws and regulations to be flouted, their very own humanity to be bought (some say BRIBE). Those who use money to buy their way into profitable business opportunities without working hard, they flout laws in order to enmass unlimited money to fuel their glamourous lifestyles. Housing developers utilise all sorts of tactics to 'CUT COST', 'IMPROVE PROFITS', in order to recoup the bribes they paid out. Cutting of costs mean LESS AUTHENTIC MATERIALS to be used in BUILDING OF HOUSES. Contractors save work and money by dumping rubbish to substitute as the buildings foundation. Rubbish includes paper and wood, which are vital food for subterranean termites. Subterranean termites gnaw through the rubbish and create a maze of underground tunnels below the newly-built beautiful houses. In time, the underground tunnels become hollow and gave way to the weight of the houses, occupied by the rich businessmen (including developers) and lawmakers ( parliament members or politicians or government leaders). Such was the retribution process that occured in a recent landslide incident which damaged many luxurious bungalows in Malaysia. Of course, in any disaster, natural or manmade, there are likely to include some collateral damages too.
