Malaysian patrons to AirAsia destined to be violated

That AirAsia violated Auatralian Consumer regulations and fined 600k is justa piece of cake. THE FINE incurred is small by airline standards, But then what interests me is not the compound slapped onto the airline company. I AM MORE AMUSED to know, what type of consumer regulations did AirAsia violated, or in other words, what cheats they conjured up amongst Australian tourists?. MIRRORING THIS, I have doubts about whether the airline company is also 'performing' equally obnoxious 'terms and conditions' onto Malaysian passengers? In view of a weaker federal government and lazier, less knowledgeable authorities/ officials of Malaysia, I can presume, NOBODY in Malaysia who patronise this AirAsia could even be aware that they have always been shorchanged by the airline. It would mean that, any fine the airline paid to Australia on grounds of violation to their consumer rights, the airline could always recover from Malaysian consumers. After all, our Malaysian consumer rights are destined to be 'violated' by any company which has 'tight connections' with the BadNotorious government.
