I heard the Malaysian Cronies Association bigshots are changing their direction about the recent AES (Automatic Enforcement System) hoohah in Selangor state.
The Selangor PR state government has been bombarding the BN-led federal government for privatising road traffic enforcement to a crony company. Of course everyone, no matter they are pro-PR or pro-BN, would describe this gesture as a move to buy into the good books of Selangor citizens in the face of General Elections 13. Well, since privatising of the road traffic enforcement would mean that citizens/ motorists become more susceptible to summons and compounds, the public is actually happy about the state government taking lead and hitting hard on BN-cronynised tactics.
Suddenly, the BN-doggy MCroniesA bigshots under the leadership of porno-artist CheeSinLou (ChaiSiLou) swung their heads and tried to mimic the same stand as PR-state government's.
I could only think of two reasons for this sudden swinging of sides.
One, the MCronies are fully aware they have nothing more than a pitiful 0% against the PR camp in the coming GE13, they have to follow suit, try a last resort and buy into the good books of the Selangor voters. After all, they are professionals in 'following the footsteps of others' all these years. It doesn't matter whose footsteps they follow, provided they feel they still have a survival chance by doing so.
Another more possible reason for this change in attitude of the MCronies regarding AES, is that the 270000 offenders-to-date as reported by the AES, consists mainly of the MCronies members.
The ordinary public who have zero connections with political parties and no monetary power have grown accustomed to the suppressive ways of Bad-Notorious-led-50-yr-government, hence no matter what enforcement or regulation is imposed, the public would be fast enough to 'obey' and 'adapt' in order to prevent paying unnecessary fines.
It is only the members of those Crony-institutions who think they are still king of the streets, bosses of this country, who won't be obedient as other citizens, who will continue to be arrogant and flout their very own enforcements/ laws in broad daylight.
Therefore, I believe no matter how many traffic summons the AES issued, majority of them would be issued to the very members of their own political parties. Which is why the MCroniesAssociation bigshots decided to opinned against the AES which their partners implemented in the first place.
So, the saying that the MCA is finally giving concern to public grievances is NOT TRUE. THEY ARE ONLY COVERING THEIR OWN ASSES WITH A DOUBLE-SWING.
