where is your baby?

where's your baby? Tablets and slate pcs have occupied the modern generation and conquered the minds of many. While I have seen lots of people carrying each an IPad or android pad to whatever gathering, private or public, they seem to be quite obssessed and attached to those screens, they have interact with it every second or so. There are also moments where people turn away once a while from a conversation in progress to look at their pads. It is as if the pad would cry, whine, or even run away, the moment they don't look at it. It's even more important than a newborn ! I have a relative who just father his first child, but I could see that he holds (embraces) the pad more closely to himself than do his baby. There are times when his baby cried for attention, he would be totally drowned in his pad games than be bothered to look at the crying baby. He would carry his pad everywhere he went, but not so to his baby. He would complain the baby is too heavy and need to get someone else to take over, BUT he would never get tired staring at the pad and flicking angry birds for hours on end. What a miraculously-made 'american' baby.
