Cheras toll abolished? MY FOOT!!

PM Najis was addressing the Malaysian public on TV about the fed govt's decision to abolish toll on both stretches of the Cheras-Kajang Expressway. The impression we got from the news report was; we thought now commuters could save RM3.80 two ways. Only when you use the roads the next day, did you realise that they only do away with 'half' of the tolls. One way free, the other maintain. So, that is their lame trick to garner votes? Ya, and the najis PM also said the fed govt have to compensate the SAGA toll company on their loses (what loses?, to me it is another way to scrape more money into their back pockets). What ever the amount they paid out to the toll company, who is there to 'justify' the amount that they did't collect?. after all, the shareholders and their cronies are all teh-tarik buddies, they can always decide on phantom figures. After 50 years of theft by these govt officials, what more trust could you have in them? So what if they didn't collect that 50 sen from me? The moment they win back the support and votes from the 'stupid rakyat who believe their tricks', they have a full 5 years to implement numerous toll-hiking tactics. That underlines their motive of retaining 'half' the toll gates. as long as the gates are there, the possibility of toll hikes are infinite. Even if they lose in the elections, they could still raise the toll rates to 'avenge' their losses. Either way, they still have a way to steal from your pocket, so there's nothing to feel happy about this toll reduction.
