Please Help the Kids

We have been blogging about putting things right for this country.
Our leaders are fighting in the Dewan over who's better in handling the affairs related to thrusting the nation ahead.
While these so-called 'brilliant' politicians are busy throwing their tantrums, there is endless talk about giving utmost attention to our future leaders (our kids) in order that they could inherit this loveable country someday.
There's no denying that we can see lots of emphasis being given to our kids, like those boasting of DHA, nano-blah-blah, Immuno-something, et cetera et cetera, these things does paint a picture of wishful imagination in the future of our new generations.
Then we have households installing stainless steel water filters, ion-activated water filters, nano molecule water filters, deep nourishment, anti-aging sort of nutrients dumped into every bit of food that we could get from supermart shelves.
Along the way, MLMs also offer all the best healthcare products (either by service or by capsules) we can find in the universe.
Within that one millionth of a second-wink, the future looks so promising....

WAIT.

Did we notice our present generation of parents blissfully stuffing these 'future leaders' with junk food, come every weekend or public holiday?
Take a look at the families strolling in complexes, their kids all chew on low nutrition food at a very young age.
There are also parents who feel proud to have their toddler take a sip from their can of beer. WOW!
Yeah, they have highly sophisticated water filters at home, but how many times do we see them bringing along their own filtered water to consume when they dine out at the 'food courts'? or maybe mamak stalls?
Adults who do not mind consuming too much salt or sugar or monosodium glutamate(?) can eat all they can, but allowing their kids to consume such food at a tender age can damage their internal organs. World health reports have already confirmed that kids are being diagnosed to suffer form obesity and diabetes at increasingly young age.

On one hand we are bragging about giving the best to our kids, whereas...
On the other hand, we joyfully let the kids take in the toxic.....

Parents, please wake up.
