What can you do with 200kb today? Part 2

The Sq lite desktop enhancement, despite on running on 200kb of codes, is a marvellous piece of software, with functioning efficiency that outruns any app you can get from the web, be it iOS or Android driven. First, you get an interface where you can change its desktop wallpaper at the press of the 'tab' key.. . . . Then, you get to access 5 separate desktop layers by just pressing 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. you have a mini stick-it type note function on the desktop screen, where you can 'paste' simple reminders on the screen, using different colours for b/g and text. Changing of fonts is also available.. . . . the stick-it notes are adjustable in size, could be positioned anywhere on the screen, and also set to either appear on any one or all of the 5 desktop layers. a bmp image could also be inserted as the stick-it b/g. . . . . . SQ lite provides a customisable on-screen miniature clock and a month calendar. You can assign different colours to weekdays and weekend dates, as well as preset holidays. There is a simple data file for you to key in private birthday dates or fixed annual events, so that they reflect on the sq screen calendar.. . . . . SQ lite provides a realtime monitoring chart for the battery status, cf card storage, internal memory and available ram. There is also a small screen icon for quickly turning of the backlight and sound volume. Nyanko is a cute cat figure with four bars roughly representing the status of the chart monitor.. . . . . Your calendar entries and tasklist also appears on-screen just like what you get on the 'today' screen of a windows mobile device. Again, 200 kb can do a lot more than what we get from today's new, flashy gadgets which are superficially 'show-off' apps. You only run bloated Megs and Megs of codes for the sake of exhibiting to peers instead of achieving somtthing 'productive'. Back to basics is the best for functionality sake.
