Homemade radish cake, YUMMY !!

You can't find good radish cake out there anymore.
Reason: not that radish has become an expensive commodity, BUT more due to humans becoming LAZY.

To make this radish cake, you need to scrape radish (ya, lots of them too) into small bits before mixing with rice flour and steam it.




What you get at pasar malam mobile hawker stalls, are not radish cake anymore. They still carry the name fried radish cake, BUT it's just tapioca flour and a bit of rice flour. I heard some people love that, mainly because the tapioca makes it crispy when fried brownish enough. NOT for me though, because it taste like plastic cubes to me (minus the crispy edges).
The old traditional recipe is still the best.
