I don't know why people have to put up so much hoo-hah about dogs. There are people who love dogs, also people who hate them. The reason being that dogs are somewhat like humans. If the owners treat their dogs good and train/educate them well, they would most definitely be lovable creatures. On the other hand, if people own dogs just for the purpose of leisure or out of instant urge, then they would not have commitment in treating the dogs well. Untrained dogs also have a tendency to be aggressive, and if not restrained while loiteiring in public places, could pose a danger to other people, especially when the dogs are of the larger species.
Likewise, humans if not well educated by their parents also tend to act aggressive and pose dangers to the public too.
Therefore, when problems arise out of such circumstances, the parents or owners are responsible for the consequences.
When humans commit crimes and hurt people, they will be convicted. The same applies to a runaway dog that has bitten somebody.
If people keep dogs and let the dogs be a nuisance to the neighbourhood, would it be the same if l love snakes and allow my 10-odd pets to roam about the neighbourhood? And what will happen if I let loose my 30 rat pals?
